Mitchell passed away today 9-7-23.
He was looking forward to the reunion and helped find classmates thinking it important we alll remember each other and get together.

Mitch called me in June 2023 to tell me that he was friendly with Marvin Star. Marvin was my friend and neighbor, so I posted a note when I learned that he had passed. Mitch wanted me to know that he too had a good relationship with Marvin. It was important for Mitch to let me know this, he wanted to "complete the circle." We ended up having three or four most enjoyable Jewish Geography conversations. I was so looking forward to shaking his hand and giving him a hug.
