Editor in Chief Marjory Miller headed the “61 Capri” Class Yearbook Team. We honor Margie and her entire staff by naming our main event for the “Sound of Mumford” yearbook theme they developed for us 62 years ago.

Saturday daytime: The Aaron Gornbein, Ted Korczynski and Alfred Strepek Bus Tour –
Meet at: J. Alexander's Restaurant Parking Lot 7440 Orchard Lake Rd West Bloomfield, MI 48322
October 7th, 2023 11:30-3:30pm
We’ll remember Gornbein, Korczynski and Strepek - our early life liaisons to civics, history and walking the neighborhoods. Our luxury motor coach tour will take us into Detroit to experience the revitalized waterfront, downtown and key neighborhoods. Heading Northwest, we’ll see hints of Cupid’s Bow, Fredson’s and Darby’s, we’ll visit some of the Detroit streets we lived on, perhaps walk The Avenue of Fashions, see parks and schools and time permitting, lots more.

With a professional driver, our coach is roomy, comfortable and offers excellent visability. We'll make scheduled stops along the way.

October 7th, 2023 7:00-9:30pm
Over appetizers it’s time to mingle. Time to welcome out of towners back home. Time to reminisce. Bring your Mumford memory pictures and if you’d like bring trinkets related to our school years - we'll be looking for class pins, buttons and letter sweaters.
