Adrienne Norma Shwedel:
Adrienne Norma Shwedel, 83, of Walled Lake, Michigan, passed away on October 6, 2026. Beloved wife of Paul Shwedel, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. Loving mother of Emily (Darrin) Levin and Alysa Hantgan. Proud Gramma of Lindsay, Dylan and Spencer Levin, and Emma, Sara and Matthew Hantgan. Devoted daughter of the late Blanche and Saul Baron. Loving sister of the late Edward Baron.
Adrienne was a dedicated special education teacher in Oak Park for nearly 40 years, touching the lives of countless children and families throughout her career. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her wonderful sense of humor and the warmth she brought to those around her. Special thanks to her beloved caregivers, Mariam and Macelyn, for their extraordinary kindness, devotion and loving care.
SHIVA
Immediately following interment until 8:00 p.m., family and friends of Adrienne Norma Shwedel will gather at the residence of Emily and Darrin Levin, 1350 Lakeside Dr., Birmingham, MI 48009. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening only.
Shiva will resume on Sunday with family and friends gathering until 8:00 p.m.
