Steve Biegel's parents and my parents were very good friends (all those Hungarian refugees) and Steve and I shared many childhood hours together when our parents visited each other. We lost touch as we grew up, but I ran into him at one of the reunions and he was still the same sweet person I remembered. He was married to a lovely woman. They did not have children, but raised some very amazing dogs. Steve died several years ago, way too young. It saddens me that so many of our classmate's lives have been cut short at such an early age.
