James W. Burdick:

James W. Burdick, age 82, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died on April 9, 2026.

Cherished father of Dr. Andrew (Ashley) Rubens and Laura Rubens Hartman (Alexandra). Beloved former spouse and lifelong companion of Judith Burdick. Proud grandfather of Colin, Sawyer, Olivia, and Jesse. Loving brother of the late Andrea (and the late David) Page. Treasured uncle of Mark (Pamela) Page, Jason (Julie) Page, and Sarah Page. Dear son of the late Mary and the late Judge Benjamin D. Burdick. Also survived by his "sister cousins," Marge, Jane, and Cathy, his great-nieces and great-nephews, and many loving friends and colleagues. 

Shiva: Immediately following the interment service, family and friends will be gathering at Temple Beth El, 7400 Telegraph Rd. in Bloomfield Hills until 9:00 p.m. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m.
