Obituary for RALPH E. YAMRON

Ralph Yamron, age 82, of Oak Park, died April 17, 2025.
Beloved husband of Marlene Yamron for 58 years.
Devoted father of Amy (John) Carter, Philip (Heather) Yamron and Debra Yamstein.
Loving grandfather of Jacob Carter, Lucas Carter, Shira Yamstein, Noa Yamstein and Madelin Yamron.
As a youngster, he belonged to the Eagle Scouts. A drummer, Ralph played with the Joe Miller Band, Sam Emmer Band, Ralph Yamron Orchestra and a group called "The Classics". He started selling meat products and a special hot dog Rotasire at multiple shows and also began selling motorcycle jackets with his daughter Debra and sunglasses with his other children, Amy and Philip. At a show, he met Richard Davis (the owner of 2nd Chance Vests--a bullet proof vest company). He joined as a partner and they became the 3rd largest vest company. Having saved 1000s of lifes, one of his favorite memories was receiving calls from the officers whose life had been saved by wearing one of his vests. A real estate investor, he was also an NRA certified pistol instructor, he invested in fire arms and loved shooting, boating, snowmobiles, and karate.
