He was predeceased by : his parents, Sarah Priesont and Sol Priesont; and his brother Llyod Priesont. He is survived by : his daughters, Andrea King (Scott) and Amy James (Max); his grandchildren, Daniel King (Christina), Jordan James, Rachael Heiter (Jake) and Matthew James; his great grandchildren, Alexia, Julian, Logan and Luke; his brother Terry Priesont; his sister-in-law Kathie; his nephew Brandon; and his niece Robin (Chip).

After graduating from Samuel C. Mumford High School in Detroit, MI on June 23, 1961 he joined the U.S. Army and was Honorable Discharged on June 15, 1964 with a medal of Good Conduct. Dedicating to raising two daughters on his own.  Mike took pride in his daughters and grandchildren’s accomplishments.  Mike drove for MTTA for over 20 years and enjoyed meeting new people.  Mike had a larger than life personality.  Mike would do anything to help a stranger out.
